Not that I'm aware of, no. Here's a COMPARISON between the US/AU release, if you'd like to get an idea of how different the two look. They were both based on the HD version, so neither transfer is perfect, but the AU release is still head and shoulders above the US release.

The German release is notable for having a completely different open-matte 16:9/1.78:1 transfer, but it's also the censored R-rated cut of the film. Unless you really need to see Bateman's junk, the AU release is the only one worth looking into.

Does anybody happen to have an extra copy of the Australian version that you're looking to sell or trade? Please PM me if you do.

You read that right. Just for a second or two when he's running around with the chainsaw, but yeah... Bale's a method kind of guy, so wearing a thong when he's supposed to be bare to the breeze isn't his style, y'know?

I was browsing Target yesterday and noticed this was in their $5 section. FYI.

I have had this movie for two years now and have yet to watch it. It has never worked on my blu ray player since it never gets passed the loading screen before the main menu. Yesterday I took it to my girlfriends house since I bought her a blu ray player a few weeks ago and it again didn't work. On her player it would get passed the lionsgate loading and into the menu but the menu would skip and freeze, not even getting to the point where it says "play..features..etc." This movie just messed up

i prefer the open matte version (German release) fills the screen nicely, and if you look up whats censored its hardly anything imo.

Lionsgate must have put out a bad batch of discs. I too, after not watching the film let a friend borrow it, only for him to find out it wouldn't fully load or get past the loading screen. Tried it on a couple players, went to Wal-Mart lied and said I got it there and they just up and gave me $5 since they didn't have it in the store, I just put the money to re-buying it.

Watched this a few nights ago - wow, what a great film. I did not expect liking this as much as I did. So many great scenes and lines in this film (that buisness card scene is epic). Anyways great film but I have to go now - I have to return some videotapes.

I have the AU release and I can vouch for the fact that it is light years ahead of the US release. It's definitely worth the purchase if you are willing to pay international shipping.

Check the international thread to make sure you get the right version. I think the Australian/South African/Spanish ones are the joint best ones to get.
You don't look ready
