I was kinda hoping Aladdin would be next for the 3D treatment if anything. And this also means that I will have to rebuy Tarzan on Blu. *Incoherent grunts*

Because its the UK and we get screwed when it comes to Disney BR releases compared to the US jmo. Seriously though I'm not sure.

I have the Cinderella Trilogy ordered from Sainsburys 25.99. Not a bad price. Was 101 Dalmations rumored to be out around the same time as well?

Mine still hasn't shipped either but the two Studio Ghibli films released on Monday arrived today, guess they are having an issue with their supplier or Disney have put the release date back without telling anyone.

I'd definitely say yes to Tarzan 3D if it's real. Like most Disney classics, I never saw it at the cinema when it first came out, so would definitely love to. And while I am still hoping we'll eventually have Aladdin 3D, Tarzan in 3D would still be fun, and would hopefully lead to a new Blu-ray release which gets a much-needed improvement.

@Mowat (sorry your post was back on the last page and I couldn't be bothered to go back and quote it ) yea you can claim DMR points for movies you get from DMR... if you didn't get a code write to them, although whether they'd do anything about it as you didn't technically "purchase it" I don't know, but they should.

If Tarzan 3D is legit I'm totally on it.

I really can't see them just skipping over Aladdin 3D. Why would they convert only three of the four Disney golden-age films and leave it at that?

Outside the four signiature Disney golden-age films, I'd say Tarzan is probably the next contender for a 3D re-release, due to the fact that there is already a lot of CGI in the film already, so a 3D conversion may come a little more naturally to Tarzan. Plus, the Blu-Ray apparently needs a re-transfer. Perhaps the Tarzan Blu-Ray was an experiment (and a rush-job) to see if the film will still be able to sell, if it's still well-recieved and if it's still marketable. If it is, I could see the film getting the 3D treatment, a theatrical re-release, a Blu-Ray 3D, and a new Blu-Ray transfer.

Still have no idea how they were able to botch up the Tarzan transfer so much, though. I've taken a look at the film when it's aired on Disney Cinemagic in the UK and it looks great! Why couldn't they have just used that transfer of the film?

But anyways, back to Aladdin, I'm certain that once Aladdin is released on Blu-Ray, we'll hear about a 3D re-release and a Blu-Ray 3D for the following year or so. (Around 2014).

BatB wasn't as successful as TLK, so there's a little red flag going up in my mind.

But then again BatB was already widely available on BR, whereas The Little Mermaid will be released in time for its Diamond Edition.

Really confused as to why Tarzan is getting a 3d release. Surely one of the least popular from the renaissance so an odd choice. I'm hoping (although doubtful) for a Hunchback or Pocahontas 3d release

Tarzan's jungle scenes would look amazing in 3D, I can't really see much they could do with Hunchback in 3D.

Tarzan would clearly be the first choice but there are some stunning shots in Hunchback and Pocahontas that would surely benefit from a 3D conversion

Asda had The Aristocats out early. Cancelled my HMV order and got it for 18.97. They also had Pinocchio for 16.97.
