There's only a couple of f-bombs. The full version has been classified as a 12 in the link above.

Oddly the originally released 50 minute version was a 12 as well but the 109m 2005 version (in the UK) was a PG. I never saw it but I guess some of the bad language was cut out. And yet the DVD releases (both of them) were rated as 12 anyway (the original release for the making-of, the 2005 version for the storyboards) so you have to wonder what the point was.

They didn't impose any cuts on the shorter version - Universal were responsible for it being edited, for whatever reasons.

I also saw it in the cinema on Tuesday, the first time I had ever seen the film.

I thought it looked decent, but seemed a bit soft in quite a few scenes. I reckon that this might be another one of those Universal blus whose restoration isn't as good as it could have been, similar to Jurassic Park.

I think a lot more work has been done to Jaws than Jurassic Park, which is a shame JP deserved the works.

I've been urging everybody I know to go see it. Nobody I speak to seems to believe me when I say who amazing it looks. People seem to just assume it'll look the same as they've always seen it - not realising just how nice it looks!

This is how you do a restoration.

Jurassic Park didn't get a restoration though, they just slapped DNR and EE on an old master, Jaws has had a brand new 4k scan and looks fantastic.

I'm afraid I didn't....but that was down to the kindergarten crowd that was in 'watching' the film.
The kid's were in and out continuously to the shop, they were STANDING in front of us having conversation's,the boy's were keeping the girl's going which in turn led them to giggle the entire time.
We got up and left after about 20 minutes or so and received a refund.....on a happier note, what I saw I was pleased with,it did look good, all twenty mins of it!
