Will definitely pick this up. Loved the visual style of the film. Wish there had been more of Theron and Hemsworth, and less of K-Stew. I'm sure this will drop in price closer to release, and I know you get the lowest price with Ammy, but that being said, $34.98 is just a TAD high...

According to amazon.de, the Blu-Ray will feature an Extended Version and should be released on December 28th.

ooh the extended version should be better! I thought I remember seeing things and hearing lines in the trailer that weren't in the movie, lol!

It's funny because after watching this, I couldn't imagine most woman would have ANY interest in it, it was WAY more of a guy movie than something women would enjoy (unless of course they are into medieval type movies).

Personally I really enjoyed it, will be a day 1 purchase for me

it has hunky men running around the whole movie. Me and my buddy described it as "female porn in a dark scary veneer"... when we went it was ALL teenage girls watching and giggling over chris hemsworth

Havent seen it, but heard it seemed rushed, character and plot wise (despite already being 2 hours long). Hopefully the extended cut fixes that. Ill check it out then.

I did not see it in the theater and had assumed that all new films in this genre would have been. From what I read online, it would have been a great film for 3D. Though admittedly and apologetically off topic, it looks like a few have gone as far as to post-convert the trailer

Who cares. If you want to order it when a release date is announced then enjoy. There is no reason to complain about the pre-orders as some like to pre-order early and often myself included.

It was 2 "hunky" guys running around... and just cause a guys a "hunk" doesn't mean guys can't enjoy a film. Don't be so stereotypical, it's annoying.
