Haha, well Paul Hembrey said 1-stopping was possible before the race started, and Sauber pulled it off (I think both Lotus drivers did too, Grosjean quite well). So the idea of one-stopping wasn't completely ludicrous, but doing so with that Ferrari chassis was probably really optimistic. And when Seb came in they should have done the same.

Watched Seb's appearance on Letterman last night. It's been a long time since I've seen his show, holy cow does that guy interrupt EVERYTHING!

I couldn't put it better than WTF1 on twitter:

Anyway though, Dave brought up KERS and DRS, like anyone beyond the stage would know what the hell he was talking about. Even Seb said something about that. They did show some amusing footage of him driving a kart when he was like 3 though.

How is Letterman still on the air? Granted, I've never found his brand of humour engaging or provocative (including the "Top Ten" list segment), but his interviewing skills are terrible; if I were a guest, I would be annoyed to no end. Vettel may not always be likable, but he handled himself well and I'm sure his charisma carried over to the audience.

I don't think he's that funny either, but I think he's a riot compared to the chin

Seb did handle himself well though.

I like the chin. Neither host is what some would consider "laugh out loud" funny, but they are late night hosts, which caters to a more mature viewing audience, so they push just enough of the right buttons to keep themselves semi-interesting to their audience (at least long enough to lull them to sleep ).

Thanks for the video links. Okay, so New Jersey isn't quite as scenic as Montreal or Monaco, but what was shown I did like, especially the elevation changes. I like the layout (on paper), so I'm looking forward to seeing a full test lap.

Yeah, Monaco obviously can't be topped, it's really gorgeous just to look at, but I think this new NJ track looks okay too. Good mix of buildings and nice, beautiful trees. They've already got half the pit complex built too. Good potential.

Price of the tickets were a bit out of my comfort zone unfortunately. Next time I know where to go though
