US - AVC 29999 kbps 1080p 1.78:1, DTS-HD MA 2.0 1637 16-bit, BD25 (Region free)
ES - AVC 22809 kbps 1080p 2.35:1 24fps, DTS-HD MA 5.1 1875 kbps 16-bit, BD25 (Region B)
DE - AVC 2.35:1, DTS-HD MA 5.1, BD25 July 19th
FR - July 3rd

Need to wait for specifications/screens on German and French disc then we probably can say what to buy

The German and French discs should be identical (they are from Studiocanal), and I would not necessarily trust Bluray-disc.de's specifications page at this point, or even after they have reviewed it. I would not expect, for instance, that with three lossless tracks, the French/German disc will be a BD-25.

I hope another studio releases a new version with a better transfer, like Shout is doing with Halloween 2.

New bluray with the original aspect ratio, and John Ottman's original score would be nice. This is my favorite Michael Myers Halloween film after pts. I and II.

Well it's the BD debut for Halloween III. His comment was about Shout doing a re-release of a BD that didn't get "stellar" treatment upon first release.

In the case of Halloween 3 we have has NO release thus far.

Doubt we'll get a decent version of H20 for some time. I'll stick with my Canadian import.

It appears that WB has the rights in Japan. They've gone a nice job with the Miramax/Dimension titles so far. That will probably be the one to get (whenever it's released).

The OAR for Halloween: H20 is 2.39:1, so anywhere from 2.35:1-2.40:1 would be an acceptable aspect ratio on Blu-ray.

If a lot of people send an email to Echo Bridge, maybe they'll re-release this movie with bonus features and good video/audio, they've been pretty good recently.
