Where in the U.S. is Jaws playing in theaters again? I would love to see it in theaters.

i just mean, any movie that's based around ocean scenes (Jaws, Lost, Waterworld...etc) that looks good at home will look twice as awesome on the big screen, where the wide open water scenes can spread their legs. That goes for movies with a mountain OR desert backdrop.

Yea, if there's a big mistake here, it's that the title was not released in time for the 4th.

At the very least it is a fact that Best Buy will have an Exclusive edition. To me it makes since that it would be the Digibook, since those are known to be coming to some areas. Zero news of a DB coming out in the US could lead one to believe that the Exclusive must be a Digibook.

There is a bare bones Blu release, bare bones dvd release, a combo blu/dvd/digitalcopy release. Overseas gets a Digibook and Steelbook.

Best Buy is known for its Exclusives which are most always worth the purchase over the traditional releases. What else could they possibly add to make it something other that what has been announced?

A Digibook, or Steelbook.

It's not a Steelbook, because you couldnt dream of getting it for 24.99 on sale. To me it's pretty clear it will be a Digibook.

I attended a screening of the digital restoration at the Cinematheque here in Toronto today. Great film! Very tense and at the same time, plenty of humour. Quint is an absolutely delicious character. The times sure have changed from 1975.

The print looked great.

Yes good idea, plus seeing the actual copy of JAWS and it not saying JAWS would completely bug me. It's a classic cover, I would prefer it in English in my collection.

Exactly. The big outer box is the only thing i'd want from that since the book and movie can be bought separately.

Steelbook is not going to be at Best Buy. I would be surprised if it is released anywhere in the US.

Exactly - JAWS has to be on the cover in ENGLISH - It wouldn't be the same in another language
