It's so very obvious Universal is celebrating it's 100th Anniversary releasing old and new titles all year long. Does anyone also realize it's Paramount's 100th year anniversary as well? Here we are half way through 2012 and not much activity from Universal's rival studio. Seems disappointing. Maybe Paramount will catch up later, even next year.

Alot of good paramount stuff is already out, maybe they feel there isn't anything TO put out or just don't feel like it.

They are still Paramount 100th Anniversary BDs. Everybody who has seen them knows it is their anniversary, which appeared to be the OPs big complaint.

Echoing a few titles on Meatheads list:
Up in Smoke Officer and a Gentleman Searching for Bobby Fisher Pretty in Pink (How is this NOT on Blu yet?... that's just weird) And adding a few others: Heaven Can Wait (1978) Sabrina (1995) Double Jeopardy American Gigolo Dead Zone Dead Again American Gigolo probably tops my Paramount list. Underrated film for its cultural/fashion contributions. I love the Blondie music. And it is probably is Laura Hutton's best role. |
