After I pulled out the bricks and tilled up the west side of my garage I got dizzy and was leaned up against my garage for a half hour. I felt like crap all last night and this morning. I guess if anyone saw me they probably would have called an ambulance and that is one bill I don't want for my own stupidity. It got to 102 here yesterday. I'm going to finish off my concrete squares I have and level off the west side of my garage. I just won't be doing it for hours on end. Maybe 15-30 minutes max. I wouldn't even do that except they are talking thunderstorms next 3-4 days and with this heat it might be severe so I want to clear out the concrete squares in there. That way I can put my car in the garage if there is any severe weather. Not much else going on. Just drowning in my own sweat at work right now.

So tonight after work it was only upper 80s and shady on side of garage I was working on. Humidity is ridiculous but I was well hydrated today. So I layed down the rest of my patio blocks. I am just short in distance so I picked up 500 pds more of the patio blocks. I also figured out my stone wall build. I'm at the bars chillen' waiting for my friend & his New Jersey gf.

Is that going to be just one row there, or are you adding a 2nd one of the sides? Looks good.

Honestly I don't know yet. I might add another row. I went to Menards tonight a week after their patio sale and they are still selling things at the sale price so I might add another row. I picked up 12 more squares at 42 pounds each. My Camry was a little overloaded I think. So besides doing numerous wheelbarrow loads of sand tonight and laying the patio squares...I also picked up and loaded 500 pounds of patio squares. I then went out. I lined up a date tomorrow night with my ex over of 10 years ago who is going thru a divorce. I then proceeded to line up a date with my best friend's sister for Saturday night (we have dabbled before ). I then went to a club my friend promotes and hung out there for awhile. So blonde bimbo had a black bug crawling up her hair. I said "hey..sit still...you have a bug crawling up your hair''. I flung it off and it landed on her back. I then flicked it off her back. All this without literally touching her at all. She said "I think it is time you went home and got away from me". The thing about West Des Moines is the females think they are Ms. Thing straight from LA. It's Iowa. You aren't "Ms. Thang". I've had that thinking on them for years and many agree. I don't know how that happened but as good looking as a lot of them are....they aren't the Cali/LA/Hollywood/etc. types. People like Iowa because of how friendly everyone is and sociable. These girls just need to pull their heads out of their a$$es. I don't need to fake some bug scenario to talk to some female. That kind of put a damper on the night with her attitude. That is what you get for being nice....

Well today is going to be a struggle with the limited sleep and heat. It is raining now and not bad. So I need to hydrate. Red bull and Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich from last night isn't quite agreeing with me right now.

Refreshing beverage you say? Got one!

I don't know how to relax most of the time. My neighbors must think I'm crazy how much work I do about everyday. I get the patio concrete squares finished I'm building stone walls for half the patio's border. Then the fire pit.

Then I destroyed a plastic wagon moving it all around the yard, lol. Didn't realize how bad the wagon was until we took the kids to the zoo and it gave up about half way though

Hopefully the neighbors actually appreciate how much work you are doing to your property, if you live near me and I saw you doing all that work I would offer to help just to be "neighborly". Mine actually commented yesterday that it was nice to see someone making them look bad....they easily have the nicest yard around.

Yea I bottomed out a few times. I'll pick up 20 tonight. I was still getting 35-40 mpg with it loaded down even on my hybrid.

I don't think the neighbors to the west give a damn. They look like welfare and sit on the porch most of the day. At least the house is in somewhat decent shape. The west side will be getting a fence. I find myself a bit annoyed with them. The neighbors to the south really appreciate what I've done. That house needs some wood work and a paint job (it doesn't look that bad but the paint thing is noticable up close). Thing is she is a stay at home mom with 4 kids (16, 13, 6, and 1 years old). Which for having 4 kids she looks rather good however I'd put a halt to the having anymore kids. He is a police officer. So the money is tight with them but they are fixing up things slowly as budget allows them supposedly. It's a big old house so it is costly to fix up. Mine has been and it isn't even that big.

Luckily everyone in our section of the neighborhood, 25 houses or so all take very good care of their property. A little further down the road there are two right next to each other that look VERY out of place due to their condition I believe we are the youngest home owners out of the 25, with a few retirees as well. The neighbor to our left is only here 6 months out of the year and the one to our right is an older lady who works 2nd shift and this is her first house so she is still learning.
