I know someone who wants to sell his opened boxset (so not sealed) for about 80 euro's. Is that a good deal for a opened one?

I would say it's a pretty good deal as long as everything is there and it's near mint condition. I've seen them go for a lot more so if you like it grab it at €80

Oh. It was around £45 when it came out so around €55 brand new, so you're not paying too much more

Nothing so far has stated that it will be a steelbook. The only thing different about this is that as well as the BD set, it will have "exclusive memorabilia" whatever that will be.

It should be like the JP T Rex set and the BttF DeLorean set.

T-rex set is not special... it is still available on Amazon...

New via marketplace for only 35 GBP lol!!!!! xD

And that one was not a webshop-only edition. I still see them in some stores :P.

I posted that in the wrong thread. It was in reply to a post in the US forum

But This will be along the same lines as that. There's nothing special about this release either. Just like the really crappy DeLorean BttF set and the JP set. I'm hoping Paramount do a better job than Uni and have some better quality bits and bobs in this set.

Nice idea about the Ark, the only problem however is that it favours just one of the four films. I would imagine a tin with the usual worthless accessories (artcards etc) will be the deal.

The disc themselves will look a lot like the Star Wars discs. They won't be gray like most Paramount titles and I am glad for that. They are ugly looking. But the last few Paramount titles I have gotten have been blue like Clueless and the original Footloose. I hate the clear disc Universal does as well.
