Rambo Game Being Set To Release In 2012 - Blu-ray Forum

"I am a big fan of Sylvester Stallone movies, and when we had the opportunity to secure the video game rights from StudioCanal for the Rambo franchise, we had to grab it with both hands," Reef Entertainment CEO Peter Rezon told MCV. "With the success of the most recent Rambo film, and an international appetite for action movies with Expendables 2 scheduled for release next summer, we felt now was a good time to do something special with this license."

How do you think this game will be?

The Rambo license has a TON of potential to be made into a game, whether it's FPS, third person or even a combo of the two.

However, without the right developers and vision, it could be a mess...like Rogue Warrior shovel-ware mess.

What do you guys think?? It could be absolute crap or could be amazing!!

They have Sly Stallone's likeness that's one good point. Now to get a good voice actor to voice Rambo. I haven't seen any success yet, they have failed in every game that has Sly in it for example, Rocky, Rocky Legends and Expendables 2 the video game all bad voice actors.

Also the gameplay and storyline. I heard it's more oriented to First Blood Part II which I was hoping they would start at Rambo's roots. The game has to be 3rd person in my opinion, or an option between 1st person and 3rd Person..
