You can bet your ass that SOMEBODY will have one though. For sure Future Shop in Canada, and I'd imagine Best Buy in the U.S. or maybe FYE, although they haven't had a SteelBook in a while.

Hey OP, any idea on what the BB Exclusive on the Hunger Games is? Im hoping its a steelbook, but the price is too high

Best Buy South Beach should have one. I accidentally pre-ordered 2. The second one was still sitting there for me to pick up and I just had that order cancelled today (Saturday). It should have been put out I would imagine. Hope you find it!

I work for MovieStop (been handling an official thread for months now; still major kudos to THS), and we have a listing for it. It's still the regular version, whichever it may be (still just says "Blu-ray" as opposed to which type of combo it is), but the release date has been added as Friday, December 7th, 2012. considering the "exclusive" casing for the hunger games (yep, you guessed it, NOT steel

) i wouldn't say that's true about the "safe bet" part.

I hope they will do the final chapter in steel to match the other two they sold but we will just have to wait and see.

The Hunger Games is from Lionsgate. The Dark Knight Rises is from Warner, which just released released 20+ Steelbooks through Best Buy. It would make sense for Warner to release a Steelbook through Best Buy again.

Was just at BB in Chicago and saw Green Lantern, The Dark Knight, Suckerpunch, Goodfellas (purchased), and a few others in steelcases.

Will be back to pick those up.

If I forgot to update... I have been to 3 different Best Buys and ZERO sign of the Echo Bridge $5.99 section, movies, or anything... so I'm guessing these will not be put out here until the 7/17 street date.

They are out at other places. I picked up "Renaissance" at Fry's Electronics for 5.00. It has a 7/17 date

was at best buy today and they had 4 rows of each batman steel they also had

v for vendetta, last samurai, goodfellas, both hangover, and 2 others (can't remember)
