Eugh... I finally order a BTTF trilogy last weekend and now I have to worry that it's going to show up as an amaray.

I'm glad I picked up the tin on release day. The digipack box for the trilogy is miles better than the amaray!

Plus, Lea Thompson autographed it for me, so you'd have to pry it from my cold dead hands to get me to give it up!
Didn't you want to get Christopher Lloyd to autograph it?

That's true, but I had left it too late, and he had gone before I had found the time.

Ahhh! The new packaging looks hideous. When did they replace the digipack with the amaray?

While it doesn't look particularly "fancy", I don't think the amary case looks that bad. At least it's in "normal" Blu-Ray packaging. The worst part about it IMO is the fact that they have the Blu-Ray logo as part of the artwork, making it look silly and redundant being immediately under the Blu-Ray logo that is on the case, itself.

I love her so much.

My pictures from the same event:
Back To The Future Blu-ray digipack; signed by:

Jeffrey Weissman.

Ricky Dean Logan.

and Lea Thompson.

Lea signing the digipack.

Sadly, I didn't get Christopher Lloyd's autograph as he was crazy busy. I nearly didn't get Lea's either for the same reason but as I was about to leave, her queue cleared right up.

I met Lea at that show too, she was VERY nice, great meeting her. I got her and Christopher Lloyd to sign my BTTF poster, which I then framed

Was mental meeting Christopher Lloyd, a childhood hero and now one of my favourite actors. I met him twice, had the autograph and had a professional photo with him

I managed to get a sealed, new copy of the Tinbox (UK exclusive) for 75 GBP including P&P. I think that's a nice deal. Or do you think I've paid too much?

I read it was 45 GBP when it was released, don't know if that's true.
When was this boxset released btw? A few years ago?

--

Just looked on eBay... opened boxsets are at least 200 Euro's (160 GBP) and there is only 1 new, sealed one, priced at aprox. 250 GBP...

I don't know if those prices are realistic/normal, but I'm a very happy man now .
