Hey all, I just wanted to see what everyone else thinks about the AU release of the remake of The Crazies.
Here in AU we got TrueHD audio, whereas in the US/UK they get LPCM. I purchased the film ages ago, looking forward to the great audio stated in the blu-ray.com review, but after several viewings have noted that the audio is really quite tinny, and not very good- especially on voices. Can anyone tell me if they've heard both the AU and UK/US tracks, and if there really is a difference? Or if it is just me? Thanks in advance. |

I have this release but haven't watched it yet. Isn't LPCM just uncompressed? I would think it sounds somewhat the same.....

It should sound the same if:
both tracks same 16 or 24bit no dialogue normalisation applied to truehd track or any DRC setting on system |
