You know what's actually influenced my decision to get this? The inclusion of the Universal Horror documentary on the Frankenstein disc (as well as the Boo! short film). If that wasn't on there I wouldn't have bothered. About time I update my taped-off-BBC2 VHS from years and years ago. Love that documentary. The two Frankensteins and Invisible Man are the only films I'm interested in otherwise. I HATE Browning's Dracula, man o man.
(But it's pure, total fear of Bela Lugosi, I reckon) |

That is a great price in comparison to the US release price.

Agreed. It's Rubbish. Isn't the Chaney version already out?
The only thing is, the '25 version would be the only silent film in the set which also wouldn't fit. |

Rubbish? You nuts?
It's one of the most beautiful looking films ever shot and next to Invisible Man, it's Rains' best performance. You want the silent version? Go import the US release.

The silent Phantom is released by Park Circus in the UK I believe who also have the Chaplin rights. Therefore would not expect it in a Universal studios boxset. |

The 2D version will be on the same disc - the 2D version will just display the 'left-eye' version of the film. Or maybe the right eye.
