What movies has the first trailer played in front of? I just realized that despite watching the trailer countless times at home, I have yet to see the trailer in theaters. I've gone to the theaters about 15 times already this year starting in March, so I find that to be odd (unless it's not playing anymore?)

Saw the 3D trailer in front of the IMAX showing for Amazing Spiderman. Looked good in it's 24p 3D goodness. No fake soap opera look to be seen there, no siree

I will say though, i can imagine some system like Dolby Atmos to give an all encompassing sound stage combined with an IMAX audio system and being the best in the world at making your ear drums truly bleed out

48fps though?, still need to see how this looks in person on actual tech tbh. Not sure any places close to me in the UK will be using it though tbh. Guess i'll have to read reviewer comments on how they felt for the full length of the movie watching it like that. It felt just as epic looking in scale as LOTR in the normal 24fps 3D trailer i saw to be honest. If i lose that illusion that sucked me in, i'd rather not watch the 48fps content. Time will tell though.

Never saw the original trailers tbh but i would bet they're the same as the ones online. I've very rarely seen a new trailer at the cinema i never saw online

saw the trailer b4 spiderman and i wasnt all that impressed. im a huge fan and im sure itll be great but im not chomping at the bit to see it. i liked that the filming style looked like rings though.

Damn it! I saw Spidy in IMAX 3D yesterday too. I guess I'll just have to get lucky at some point and see the trailer in theaters.

The trailer that is on Spider-man and Brave is Version2 but it is the same runtime as Version1 so I am not sure what the difference is. They both seemed the same to me.

I was never a huge Lord of the Rings/Hobbit fan but I love the music in the Hobbit trailer. Just feels fantastic hearing the trumpets blowing in middle of the trailer as soon as Gandalf sings.

I saw the trailer for this before Brave the other day. I gotta say, I thought it was another "Scary Movie", "Date Movie" type at first. Then I realized it was serious.

It looks like garbage to be honest.
