true...i actually bought mine in the end from a seller on amazon.ca and paid even less than that...im in no hurry to specifically watch that movie although i'll probably watch it shortly after i receive it

Picked up some CDs today and was surprised to see Pink Floyd: The Making of Wish You Were Here for just $12.99 given that it's only been out about 3 weeks (came out on June 26). It was only $1 more than the DVD

Needless to say, I didn't think twice about grabbing a copy

i got it for $14 plus tax free shipping off cdplus.com cheapest pirce i could find.

never buy the old 1 disc version. it only has 1080i video and butchered 1:78 aspect. the combo uses the new wb transfer.

Yes. Combos usually include the remastered versions.

Effin' Canada and their HMV/FutureShop stores! All we get is Best Buy (not compaining), Fry's, and FYE (complaining).

the Toronto HMV Superstore (Yonge & Dundas) is having an anniversary sale. I didn't catch how long it's on for, but almost all blu-rays are at least 10% off, with some being 40% off.

There are some titles that are excluded, but Total Recall (Ultimate Rekall Edition) was knocked down to $13.59 and it's only been out 2 days. I would have thought the new releases would have all been excluded but apparently not the case.

HMV is a rip off 85% of the time. Their pricing is worse than FYE could ever be

Is there a price protection?
I didn't open my copy so I could always return it and rebuy it at $10 I guess.

Pisses me off because I used 20 000 pure points just to knock it down from $15.99 to $12.99

However, I do have a second copy from Wal-Mart that is still sealed

Perhaps I could return that one to HMV, rebuy it for $10 (if they have to ring it up that way), then take that one and return it to Wal-Mart

Techically this isn't breaking any rules, right?

Sure, that's perfectly fine. Not sure it's worth your time & gas to save $6 though.

I just got back from there, sticker price in store is $15.99 and rings in as such.
