DrrnHarr, those modified Bond covers are coming along quite well! I really would like to see all those spines in a row with the film-specific fonts!!

Great work.

No, the yellowish colour fits better with the lava/fire - white would look odd.

Thanks, I think Jolly Roger does have a point about the credits block, but the color of the BD logo was not a random thing, I eyedropped a color from the fire to get it

Thanks Workshed. I will redesign all my Bond covers accordingly and make them available by PM request (when completed).

Hard to tell I know from the 3D images above, but all the spine TT's are using the same Gold gradient and other effects.

Also, I am aware of the error on the NSNA cover, its a simple matter of unclicking on the bullets from the previous special features layers

An expansion to my Avengers project, would there be any interest in a slipcover like this? Because i want to know if this is worth finishing or not.

My first WIP (Work In Progress) in a long time.

Space toward bottom back is for special features if/when they ever get announced.

Still trying to decide on background color.

Jolly good show. I know you didn't ask for comments, but here are a few observations.

The design is sound, but your choice of colours are more associated with colder climates in the public conciousness. Are you sure people won't "read" those shapes as icebergs rather than sand dunes?

Furthermore, the font you have chosen, while elegant, gives me more of a medieval/keltic association. It mostly works in the Title Treatment on the front, but the bulletts in the "O"s are giving me a Dragonheart vibe. Either way, I think you'd be better off choosing a less decorative font for the back blurb.

On the whole, it's a good-looking cover. Congratulations.

Thanks Nissen. That's why I posted it as a WIP. I agree with you on every point you made. I've tried it in a warmer color scheme, I'm really attempting a 2 or 3 color deal here, and it just rubbed me wrong for some reason. I know I didn't try hard enough, so I'll give it another go and post it with the new colors later.

As for the font. I'll find something else that doesn't give you that Dragonheart feel. I know what you meant, but I lmao so hard at this. I agree wholeheartedly looking at it now.

My latest from Nissen.

Most covers for The Faculty were always a little bit messy with quotes and poor picture choices. I just wanted a cover that kept the main design but was tidied up. Love the way Nissen has taken the "alien light" from the front and used to box the pictures on the reverse. The characters also have a little alien light added to their faces enhancing the sci-fi look. The blue tints work brilliantly with the actual Blu-ray case.

I agree with Nissen big time, the color scheme should be tans, reds and oranges. It would look dynamite. Please repost with a warmer color scheme. I would love to see it.

I reported him already from another thread. Might want to remove those links from the quote though.

At least he could have made a custom cover to go with it.
