Watched the movie Get The Gringo last night with Mel Gibson. It was a pretty good movie. Not much action for the Rs to work with. I checked out the battle scene in LOTR Return of the King near the end. Now that sounded really good! I went from 0 to +2 on bass on tone control other day and redid SPL. Couple minor adjustments made.

I watched Wrath of the Titans yesterday it could have worked my R's more also, but there were some scenes where the Bass did a good job at vibrating the floor.

I should add that it was only a regular DVD and not Blu-Ray.

Wrath of the Titans sucked! I can't believe someone came up with that terrible script and they actually green lit it. Crazy, just be happy you didn't waste your money on the Blu ray.. :P

This coming from the guy who was championing Green Lantern earlier in the thread...ha, curious about your standards here, if I'm honest.

Tell me what was wrong with Green Lantern? It was a good movie.. It wasn't the Dark Knight, but it was a decent movie. Explain to me how Wrath of the Titans had anything going for it? All the gods die,the plot was paper thin. It didn't make any sense.

You're right in liking the Green Lantern BETTER than Wrath of the Titans, I suppose. Rotten Tomatoes lists GL at 27% and WT at 25%...

Joshing on all of this, btw. Whatever floats your boat, man. I only saw half of GL before I turned it off, couldn't stand even the trailer for WT...

The best part of those movie's was the end and listening to them thru my Mirage OMD-28's, but I do feel my Mirage's pain for having to play the sound track.

I agree,Green hornet did have a great sound track. Obviously Green Latern or movies of that type isn't Velociti or Blue vettes thing. And,I never go by rotten tomatoes. I'd end up seeing the trendy movies.. I just watched Ghost Rider ,spirit of Vengeance the other day.. OMG now that was a train wreck. I really like the 1st one tho.

We must all remember that ALL people have their Likes and Dislikes and that's what makes us individuals, and that's how it should be. My likes in Music, Movies or what ever it may be... is who I am, and may not be your likes or dislikes.
So statements can and should be made so everyone understands that it's your opinion.
Even the worst song or movie ever made....might be liked by someone.

Just my 2 Cents.

In my Opinion everyone should own Mirage Speakers.
BTW/ This started over comments on how some movies sounded on our Mirage Speakers and Home Theater enviroment and some of us followed that thought.

Here we go with Goat putting words in other peoples mouths. I said the movie's sucked, not the sound track. I saw both movies did not enjoy either, the PQ and SQ I say 4 to 4.5 but movie wise 2.5. I can speak for myself and Goat you should only speak for yourself or not at all. Glad you enjoyed the movies, to bad you did not have the Mirage speakers. That is the only way those movies would have been better.

The problem with that is, you keep changing what you like so much that we really can't keep tabs or track of the moving targets.
