I would love to do a marathon viewing of the trilogy at AMC but can't do it if it is for that night only. Wish they would do the trilogy screenings for at least a week or two. I will be watching Batman Begins/The Dark Knight at home then and then catching The Dark Knight Rises at IMAX later on.

Default Batman Marathon going on before Rises at 12AM

Anyone doing this? I am quite excited. Should be a cool way to spend the night leading up to the TDKR's premiere.

Which movies? Just Nolan's or all of them?

I'm doing it, but not in one night. I watched Batman (1943), Batman and Robin (1947), Batman (1966), I skipped the whole TV Series (too long!), Return to the Bacave (2003), Batman (1989)...

Now, I must watch the 3 remaining movies from the 1990's, followed by Begins, TDK, and maybe the animated movies like Gotham Knight.

I'll watch my BB and TDK Blu-rays at home before going to see TDKR.

[Show spoiler]There is no way I'm helping TDKR try to beat The Avengers in box office numbers by spending extra to watch the first two films in theatre.

lol... just kidding.

I'd just rather be comfortable at home before going to a full theatre for this one. After all, I'm not a huge fan of the franchise so it's not THAT important to me to see them again on the big screen.

Man I better start thinking about ways to sneak in some food for this. My local theater's food is way too expensive($4.75 for a hotdog. That's like 1.25 per inch!)
It's too bad I won't be getting the midnight Trilogy poster from AMC, but I think it's worth the fact that my theater has a bigger screen and I gt to avoid the incompetence of AMC's digital projectionists(they ended up leaving all the lights on for the first 20 minutes of Avatar in IMAX 3D and they managed to leave the 5 second "AMC presents Hasbro's Battleship" bumper on loop for 15 minutes before Brave.

My local AMC isn't doing midnight showings but they are giving posters away on Day one to people who see it in (Lie)IMAX.
I have no tolerance for airheads.
