What makes you say that?

If you don't receive a digi pack it may be worth a trip to blockbuster. I was in my local store about 4 months ago and they had tones of new digi packs for sale. I held off at the time as I remember thinking I could get the set much cheep online.

A few reasons. Firstly the price dropped to £12 which I believe is one of the lowest prices it's been at amazon which could indictate a change to cheeper packaging.

When I ordered last Sunday the set was in stock (which in my experience was a digi-pack). I happened to be in HMV on Monday and noticed all their sets were now the hideous looking amaray.

After posting on this forum it was noticed the set went out of stock at amazon early this week with an expected shipping date of 9-11 days. So its likely that any new stock amazon receive will be the amaray (as universal seem to be now supplying retailers with the amaray). However nobody know for sure as in the eyes of amazon, if the digi pack and amaray have the same barcode they'll proabaly see it as the same product!

You may be as lucky as I was my friend but I personally doubt it

I picked this up in Sainsbury for £15 yesterday following your advice

Been meaning to get this for a while and the thought of ending up with a chunky yet flimsy amary that has the middle bit falling out all over the place (always happens!) made me bite! I thought an extra 3 quid to guarante a digi was worth it. They had a pile left. Thanks!

Haha! Don't you feel the artwork makes it look like it only contains the 1st film though? I wonder if anyone has purchased it thinking it was just the 1st film, only to get home and find all three discs!?

The word 'Trilogy' kind of gives it away.

True, I feel it's far from written predominantly though! I guess I'm a bit overly anal about box sets in that they have to be digi packs for me.

You must be disappointed by a lot of box-sets then.

Just finished watching the second one, and I must say that I'm disappointed with the picture quality; it appears that the studio overused DNR for that one. The fist was okay, and I've still yet to watch the third.

If you thought the 2nd had been over-DNR'd, your response to the 3rd should be interesting...

I thought the 2nd looked the weakest out of the three but that wasn't due to DNR. I just thought the image wasn't as good.

Looking at down sizing my blu-ray collection, how much is this worth these days, it's unsealed but in a mint condition.

Great, why the **** would studios pull this crap? I don't buy Blu-rays so I can look at talking wax figures.

I really thought this release was going to be great after reading the rave reviews on this site, the people that reviewed it and gave it full marks obviously don't know what they're talking about.

It's exactly the same as the digi.
