Also some of these sell through Amazon. So maybe they don't take the Amazon orders out right away, one by one but in a cluster.

I count 90 days since 'blackout' Friday, April 13th. Not the blistering rate I originally predicted for Journey, but still pretty darn fast for a 53 year old catalogue title which the studio had no faith in doing themselves. By comparison, Fright Night sold out in 35 days.
Mysterious Island is almost guaranteed to be next, followed by The Big Heat, would be my best guess. Maybe Those Magnificent Men... will sneak in there before fall. |

TT gave away 100 copies of FN with a qualifying purchase at the end of the run. If this guy is really selling them for that amount on eBay you also have to consider that people that are buying them now would have made the purchase while they were still available from SAE had they known about their existence. Marketing is something TT can continue work on and improve while they still have titles for sale. Especially telling is when people buy in stock titles on eBay for an inflated price.

They're allowed to see 3000 copies. They sold them in just over a month. Wouldn't they consider that a success? The fairly popular titles (the ones that people are saying "WTF?" to when they show up as TT) are selling well. The obscure ones like Wayward Bus are not. Isn't that to be expected? |
