By the way, car was leaking radiator fluid again. Talked to the guys at the garage and they think it is just the overflow since the car never overheated. I hope he is right, but I asked him to take the car and to be certain that is all it is. I am crossing my fingers again.

I can't see it here at work Benny, but thanks for thinking of me.

Found out my car has no problem with my radiator leaking. He said what I saw was the overflow where he filled it up too much when he worked on it Monday. He also said I owed him no $$$ for double checking it!!! But I will say, that was a lot of fluid I saw leaking out from my engine. It did stop once I turned the engine off and it cooled a bit. I just hope it doesn't happen again, as it stained my driveway at home (even after I hosed it down when it was leaking) and now I have to clean the driveway more thoroughly because the wife won't like the way it looks now.

If the overflow tank didn't exist it would have probably blown the head gasket or radiator end cap...damn those smart engineers.

Good morning everyone. It is almost the weekend. Technically it is Friday for me, as I am taking my very 1st day off from work for this year tomorrow (excluding the bank holidays). Been a long time coming, but of course, I am taking it off to get work done around the house, so I wouldn't say it is truly a "day off."

Howdy all.....been busy catching up all day from my day off on Friday. Car is still acting up with some leaking anitfreeze, but according to the mechanic, he says it is the overflow and not to worry about it. The engine is running perfectly cool as it should, but after every trip to work or back home (about a 25 mile trip) when I park the car, it has begun to leak anit-freeze and will do so slowly for about 1/2 hour. Very strange if you ask me, and this has been going on for a week now....

Make sure you clean it up. We would not want your dog or neighbor pets licking that stuff up.
