The game IS two years old. The single player is good enough to keep IMO.

The MP usually gets a bit active during double/triple XP events too.

already played single player when it first came out and i didn't have broadband. i read different forums saying the onlne community was still active but i guess not. rockstar is having a multiplayer event july 27th but during my work hours so im screwed. i will give it another try this weekend see what happens.

You finished single player? There's a LOT to do

Keep in mind that while the community might be "active", I believe there's a couple different playlists they can be in (free roam, friendly free roam, etc.) plus in games, etc. The number of players are split up among the various things to do.

Always wanted to play Undead Nightmare, traded in my original version today for $9.99 and got the GOTY for $19.99. Cheaper than buying all the dlc.

Ha, yeah in today's age, if it's not COD or something really big, buying in 2 years later won't see much activity. But, that being said, there's just so much freaking stuff to do in RDR that I sure wouldn't sell it.
