Is this one still up for an October release? Strange that no cover art has been released yet.

I have been wondering the same thing myself. I read the article again and I think because it says "beginning in October" that it could be given a later release. It seems probable that it might be released sometime closer to December. Then again, that's just my own thinking and they could release it in October. I wish they would give us some kind of news soon.

Disney is pretty good about getting their official announcements out well in advacne. Which wouldn't bode well for an October release date, at this point. Of course, I hope I'm wrong...and we get this sooner rather than later!

Disney is still announcing movies, if it goes anything like Treasure Planet, it didn't get very much time before the release date. I would assume we'll get a announcement soon.

It will be, definitely not this year though. I'm expecting sometime next year if not "Winter 2012".

I'd go with the notion of it coming out next for the 10th anniversary seeing as Treasure Planet came out this year on its ten anniversary. But... who knows

According to DVDizzy, the booklet mentioned all the movies that were supposed to be released this year are coming. The only two they didn't say were Brother Bear and Atlantis. I would bet they are still coming.

september 26, 2012 - An insert inside Cinderella's upcoming combo pack reveals that Aladdin has been bumped either from its spring 2013 Blu-ray release date or the Diamond Collection altogether.

Peter Pan is now scheduled for a Blu-ray debut next spring, with The Little Mermaid confirmed to follow in the fall. Another booklet advertises the upcoming Blu-ray debuts of The Absent-Minded Professor & Son of Flubber: 2-Movie Collection, Pollyanna, Babes in Toyland, and Flubber (15th Anniversary Edition). No dates are given, but at least some of those are anticipated to be in stores by year's end.

Hope they maintain the aspect ratio switch. I'm sure they will.

This, along with Treasure Planet, I think often get overlooked. Definitely underrated.

I would be surprised if this didn't hit $19.99.

My only concern left is the quality. I was glad to see 3-discs hoping that one of them is to maintain the aspect ratio, which really is the left over concern.

I hate it when I'm right, thinking it'd become a 2-movie collection... I can see them taking the cropped aspect ratio over the original theatrical release or smudging in two versions of the same film plus the sequel, affecting the bitrate quality.

Why did I sell my DVD copy, not all features will definitely be on the Blu-Ray disc now

Either way, I'm excited and happy and a little worried for the aspect ratio ...
