Anyone know if the Target Bonus disc will make it across the Atlantic? Doubt it, but you never know.

Yup, we're getting it on our regular release! From a few pages back:

Quote:
However, this misses the one feature that Disney has promised for the UK Blu-ray - a 90-minute documentary entitled Building a Dream: Assembling the Avengers. According to the Disney UK, this will include 'never before seen footage from Iron Man as well as fascinating insight from director Joss Whedon and producer Kevin Feige on how they began creating the Marvel Cinematic Universe for what has become on of the most anticipated and talked about movie events in the world'.
And from the US thread regarding the Target disc:

Quote:
If you go to Target.com, you can now pre-order either the Target Exclusive 2-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack or 4-Disc 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack of Marvel’s The Avengers. Both versions include a 90-minute bonus feature, BUILDING A DREAM: ASSEMBLING THE AVENGERS, which explores how the films IRON MAN, THE INCREDIBLE HULK, IRON MAN 2, THOR, and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER were conceived and led to the greatest super hero team ever assembled on screen – THE AVENGERS."
So we're definitely getting the same content as that bonus disc, we just don't have to hunt it down as a retailer exclusive.

Just had a confirmation email saying they've taken the money out of my account (or charged my card). For a film that's not out for 2 months! I'm gutted the full-set was not available if a few people get that for £9! It's gone from their site completely now (The Avengers)!

Not sure about their T & C's but can they cancel the order now?

Oh well, I've ordered the HMV steelbook for sub £13. I'll stick with that. To be honest these days I don't tend to watch many of the extras anyway.

Same here but this was an extra I would actually have bothered with. Oh well, I'm sure it'll end up available somewhere on the internet after release.

I think it means the sleeve is exclusive, and it comes with the 90 minute documentary. I don't think they are claiming the doc is exclusive as well. I'm sure all UK versions will have it.

I thought that originally, but if you look at the Extras on their 'Exclusive Disc version' compared to their 'Normal 3D Disc' and in fact any of the discs on Play and they are VERY different.

I apologise if that statement makes little to no sense, but I really am still very drunk

To me I'm reading that says the sleeve and doc are exclusive. I hope I'm wrong and you're right though.
