Does Full Moon still control the rights to TOURIST TRAP? I used to have a VHS copy of the film that had a Paramount logo, from the early 90's I think. I hope they release it on Blu-ray if they've got it.

Especially since they both rang up at $5
these were used copies, right?

Nope. Brand new with the shrinkwrap and the stickers on top on the casing.

I think others had said they were finding these at Dollar General, also for $10.00.

Kind of off-topic, but last night I went to watch Gingerdead Man 3 on Netflix, and not only was it not in HD, would you believe it was cropped to 4:3? I checked, and the DVD is widescreen, so why the heck would Netflix get a cropped copy???

Bring on the rest of the Subspecies series would make my day. Best Vampire movies IMO.

Netflix hosts whatever the studio gives them; they don't do anything other than putting the provided file on their platform.

I know, that's why I asked why they would 'get' a cropped copy. I just don't understand why Full Moon or whoever would give them a cropped copy in 2012.

I really like Subspecies as well. It has a gothic feel to it that almost reminds me of the silent film era. The way they use shadows and lighting to get that full on creepy vibe going is pretty awesome.

Exactly. Love the vibe of those movies. Plus, Radhu is so creepy with his long fingers

Awesome! I honestly don't care for the first one, hopefully they get it right this time, I heard the initial blu-ray release was really bad. Have fond memories of Part 3 though, don't remember much of Part 2. I'll be tempted to pick this up.

So are 2 and 3 not going to be available individually? Too bad the first one goes so cheap so I probably won't have much luck selling it.

Nevermind, I just checked the press release and it does list all three individually and in a three-pack. But the Full Moon store only has the three-pack up now.

Maybe that is my problem. I own the really cheap wal-mart DVDs of 1-6, and I've never been able to get beyond 1, it just starts too slow! Maybe I'll skip ahead to part 2.

So wait are these going to be the exact same blu-rays 88films are releasing? Complete with new transfer and 5.1 DTS-HD-MA? If so I want to cancel my Amazon UK order.
