Only Nolan fanboys could be upset over a 91% positive reaction, 90 meta critic and anything less than a 10/10. Of the two negative reviews, I really don't see them as much of a threat. I won't listen to anything The Daily Mail puts out, and that includes movie reviews. As the AP review, it seemed like she was saying her expectations were really really high and that she gave it a negative review because it wasn't a complete masterpiece. That's practically a compliment to Nolan. And I don't think she believes Ted and Snow White were better films either. Her review is based on expectations versus reality, and it's just stupid for people who haven't even seen the film to be upset over that.
+1.

Hey people, I haven't been reading much up about TDKR (I'm not too keen on seeing it, but my other half is dragging me to see it next week). Anyhow, I just thought I'd mention about this one review I've seen about it.

This is the one of the chick who likes Magic Mike slagging it off basically, I just felt I should say that some of the comments by the fanboys are disgusting. Seriously, disregarding someone's opinion because they like a film about strippers or whatever the hell it's about is just silly. Also, she slagged off a film that has otherwise got good reviews, who cares? Every film gets slagged off by someone. Thirdly, there are so many sexist comments! 'Women don't get action films' etc. Urgh, in all honesty fans like this make me really not want to see this film. I understand it might be awesome but some of the hype surrounding it is beyond ridiculous and if anyone will tell me I simply don't understand film because I don't kiss Nolan's ass then gosh what a sad film industry we have today. I'll be seeing this and I'll probably post my views on here, but otherwise Burton's for me.

Yeah it's the sexism in the fanboy responses that really annoy me. It really makes my blood boil to think of that thought process...
"Egads a negative review! Well she's a woman so it's because of that! It's not because she's a human being with her own distinct opinions. She just didn't like it because it's not for chicks, definitely not because she had issues with the pacing or writing..." UGH.

Exactly my thoughts! What makes me laugh is now that I've looked through some of the other negative reviews, the positive one's have what like 20 or so comments, the negative ones have over 800 comments (primarily people flaming them)! My god, Nolan has an army!

I love Nolans stuff. The negative reviews on RT don't really go into the problems of the movie, except that one person that trashed everything." But, I'm not going to cuss them out or with death upon them because of it, like some of them out there.

His flaws to me, is the female lead (but it sounds like he got Catwoman) and action scenes. I don't go into his films trying to pick it apart. After seeing it a dozen times then I start to try to find things. Like people getting upset that he kept telling the audience whats going on in Inception. They get upset of if he didn't do that then they get upset that nothing was explaned.

Reviews are just totally irrelevant. Does anyone care what I think about this movie? Nope. And I dont care what anyone else thinks about it. I havent read a single review and won't.

I like all kinds of movies others hate. Fine by me. Im not a Batman or a Nolan fanboy. I love Prestige, I dont like Inception at all. I love Begins, think its much better than TDK, but still LIKE TDK, and if Rises is just good, that's good enough for me. It's just a movie. Could anything possibly be less important than something made for no other reason than to entertain us? It's nothing more than that. If it's great, then that's just a bonus. If it sucks, doesnt matter to me. Pretty sure its not the last movie that will ever be made.

If someone gives this movie a bad review, they simply didnt like it and dont deserve to be attacked for that. But people turn into 10 year olds and get all butthurt over it. I dont get it at all. Making excuses for why some random person didnt like it? Uh yeah we all need to get some hobbies if thats what we're worried about.

its a shame that those fans have to so rude about it. it really gives us the true fans of movies a bad name. which is why I dont like the term fanboy. I find it insulting to the true movie lovers.

I like all kinds of movies that are good in my book. did I like avengers. sure. do I think its the best comic book movie in the world? no. superman the movie hold that spot for me.
I know there are fans for star wars and transformers that are normal people. the whole lucas raped their childhood is such a childish statement. its a movie for god's sake.
