I think someone here reported that they complained enough to where they were able to get a new copy of the movie and return the one with the banged up slip, but IIRC they were sort of rolling the dice on whether the slip would be in any better condition because DMC was just going to ship the replacement the same way. Your better option would be to wait until there's a few you need and then place a separate order for "replacement O-sleeves." Enigma can help you out with the info on that He's the slipcover replacement guru. It's basically $1 per slipcover + a few bucks flat fee for shipping.

Speaking of slipcovers, these bad boys just showed up today. The three that I had weren't in bad shape, by any stretch of the imagination, but I swapped them anyway, because new is always better.

Anyone try to see if Amazon will price match Deep Discounts price? I chose to order through Amazon being that I've had lots of good experiences with them. I also ordered Cinderella through Amazon when they had the $8 deal and Finding Nemo when they had the $8 deal, all for the 3D versions.

The Lion King 1 1/2's case is broken on the bottom near the spine. Not simply cracked, but a chunk is broken off. I suppose I could send it back, but I've got a couple of other blu-rays with broken cases.

That's what my problem was. Has anyone ordered from Deep Discount before? How fast is their shipping? Do you get it close to the release date? Do you they bill you when you order, or when your order ships like Amazon?

from what i've read, getting monsters, inc. as an enrollment title is a huge ymmv. but can anyone confirm if monsters, inc. is available as a commitment title or not? thanks.

I think it used to be available as an enrollment title like the other Pixar films, but I'm not sure. But either way, it has since gone out of print, and is neither available as an enrollment title or commitment title.

Most people are speculating that it will be re-issued on BD (and released as a 3DBD) early next year, between the theatrical 3D re-release in January and the release of Monsters University in June (or is it May?).

I have preordered two titles from them recently and I received both a few days before it was to be released. As far as I can tell, their preorder shipping speed is great. I have preordered Brave and The Avengers already from them as well.

It looks like they sent me the selection of the month even though I log in every week or so and decline it. Can I just write "Refused Return to Sender" on the package and have it go back? (know we used to do that with Columbia House back in the day) I really have no reason to want to pay $30 for Princess Diaries 1&2.

This happened to me once and I opened it and filled out the slip that came with it that had return information on it in order to make sure they properly processed it as one. If you really did decline it and they sent it anyway, print out the email confirmation they send you anytime you decline a selection to prove to them that it was a screw-up on their end and stick it in the package. They'll email you and credit your method of payment after receiving it.
