Default Harry Potter 8-movie collection

This seems way cheaper on the .uk than most places I could pick up the Canadian version here. Are there any differences in content between the versions?

Default Canadian Import Taxes

I am sure this has been discussed here previously, but can't put my finger on it.

Question is whether it is better to order more items in a single go or not, for purposes of avoiding the application of the import taxes. I've imported movies by mail from the US and a few things from Hong Kong and never had the duties applied, but would be interested in others' real life experiences with the UK.

For instance, I am looking at the Harry Potter 8-film collection and the Matrix Trilogy from the .uk. For shipping costs, I expect it would be better to order them together, but wasn't sure if the total value or the size of the package would be more/less likely to subject me to the duties.

Thanks.

I wouldnt order multiple box sets in one order. The larger the box that they put it in, the greater the chance of duties being hit. Smaller packages slip by 99.9% of the time.

this wont help you but i do the opposite....i always order all at once and hope for the best....you tend to save money on shipping when you do that and considering how often i have gotten hit with duties i save more money overall because i dont pay as much for shipping.

I have had an item with one blu ray charged duties on while i have had much bigger packages slip by....its luck of the draw in the end

Not always. Alot of the Universal releases tend to have no special features, but when their US counterparts come out the features are included. Examples of movies I have had to upgrade: Definitely Maybe & Almost Famous
