As of today, anyone know which country's release will be a true SteelBook with the title on the spine instead of the picture of the characters?
Samsung UN55C6500 LED LCD - Harman/Kardon AVR2600 - Polk T90e (fronts) - Polk CS2 (center) - Polk RM6750 (surrounds and sub) - PS3 60GB - LG BD-390 - Nintendo Wii

None. It looks like the cover is universal and everyone is the same. The only different one is the Viva Metal Box from Canada.

There's a chance the Taiwan version with have the title on the spine, but I have a feeling it'll change before release. So far I've seen 1 mock-up with the Paramount logo at the top and The Avengers on the spine, and another with the Paramount logo and a couple of pictures below it (where the Blu-ray logo was).

The US isn't getting steelbook.

Canada is getting a Viva Metalcase that is being sold exclusively via FutureShop.

Looks like i'm gonna have to step up my selling off of the double dips i now have since i upgraded to steelbooks and 3D versions for some. Got my studen loan to sort out as well but that's a PITA i don't even want to go into. Long story short:

Lol I get 90 euros a month (students who live with their parents get that from the government). That is like a nothing . I have to pay 140 euros for my health insurance, I only get 70 euros from the government (student health insurance support). So after the fixed costs, I'll have 20 euros left (at least, that is what I get from the government. I have other income sources lol ).

20 euros... 1 steelbook costs more than that lol.

maybe someone here can help me out on something i'm confused about. everything i can find online says VAT in Germany is 19%. if that's true, then why does amazon.de only deduct about 16% on orders being shipped to the US?

Maybe the 3% might be tax that the US import authority charge perhaps?

It is odd. UK VAT is now 20%. God i wish it was still 15% or even 17,5%. Truth is, every government stiffs over the working joe more than anything else. The elites get everything through loopholes. They save so much via loopholes they're literally spending free tax dogded money . Can't say i wouldn't want to do the same though

no clue on whether someone else is adding anything in to the subtotal. this isn't on an actual purchase, but on the final confirmation page there's like 3% difference in what they should be deducting and what it says they're deducting.
