So, say I purchased the Best Buy exclusive Wrath of the Titans steelbook Blu-ray a few weeks ago, and I just got around to watching it, and it's defective, but it's out of stock at all the Best Buys around me. How would an exchange work? Would they order a new one to be sent to the store? Because they're still available online. Or would they just give me a refund?
Has this happened to anyone before? |

What's defective about it?

They would probably let you exchange for another title. They don't give refunds on opened media.

That's odd. Assuming there is not physical damage to the disc (scratch, etc.), does your BD player have the lasted firmware?

they may let you swap the disc out w/a non-steelbook if they confirm the disc is defective. you'd have to talk to them about it though.

Yeah, it's definitely the disc. This happened once before with Captain America. Same glitch where it skips a chunk of the movie. Tried playing it in my PS3 and my parents' Blu-ray player. Same thing happened in both players. Also, I bought my parents a copy of Captain America at the same Best Buy. Theirs played fine. Mine didn't.
