Kind of bitter-sweet for me. I won tickets through Mountain Dew to an early screening tomorrow night at 7:00, but I'm already going to the marathon at 6:00. I don't know why I feel like I'm missing out. I mean, I will be seeing it at midnight so it doesn't really matter. It's almost like human nature, though. You feel like you're better than other people when you have the ability to say, "Haha, I got to see it before you."

I didn't think it'd be so hard to give away tickets to see the movie early, but no one wants to make the drive to San Francisco to see it.

I don't see myself ever enduring one of those marathons. Real food (pizza, hot dogs, etc.) inside movie theaters is so expensive, and the choices are so limited. Plus, nine hours of ear-shattering sound? No thanks.

It's not nearly as long as the Marvel marathon. From 12 in the afternoon til 2:30 in the morning. The Batman marathon starts at 6.

When I went to the Marvel marathon, the entire front of the theatre smelt like body odor. Luckily I wasn't sitting by them, but the long viewings can have their downsides.

Massive, massive let down.

Wow.

All that hype and anticipation....for THAT?

I haven't been that disappointed since walking out of Shitty-Man 3 back in 2007. This can't be rebooted fast enough. wtf was Nolan doing??

I hope you have your flame suit on. In not going into details you are asking for an onslaught of "Troll" and "threadcrapping" retaliatory comments.

someone please find where I live and beat me with a broom stick as batman has tore an emotional rip in my conscious over 2 facets regarding his bad assy-ness.

I cant fathom buying the cheap steel books at BBY because I never double dip as I believe it's a waste of money.

IMAX 3D sold out at midnight here so I am seeing it on a boring normal screen and then later that day in IMAX 3D but now I am considering just after the midnight showing seeing it at 3:45 am in IMAX as a lot of people won't be there and I run the risk of teenagers ruining my 2nd viewing if I see mid afternoon!

This is my favourite super hero movie. I was floored by this effort. Its funny but I feel attention to all characters was just right for me.

[Show spoiler]what can I say
My favourite Villain(s) in a loong time, is that Tom Hardy's real physique?.Anne Hathaway one of the better femme fatales I have seen, she was quite natural which was appreciated. Toms presence was impressive actually and I really enjoyed this incarnation of Bane, fantastic set pieces, good pacing, nice take on breaking and rebuilding the Hero. Nice ending. Yea emotionally satisfying
.

My favourite because it felt grounded in realism, slightly opposed to what is seen in Marvel movies of late, not that I don't appreciate these, but this was just all good for mine.

5/5

The movie will not be playing in IMAX 3D anywhere since Nolan hates 3D.

It has to do with the notion that "Batman would never do that" idea.

Which kind of defeats the point of doing adaptations if you're not going to put your own spin on it.
"People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy".

"Because he's the hero that Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now... and so we'll hunt him... because he can take it... because he's not a hero... he's a silent guardian, a watchful protector... a DARK KNIGHT."

"Theatricality and deception are powerful agents to the uninitiated. But, we are initiated. Aren't we Bruce? Members of the League of Shadows."
