Here is the link regarding the earlier tweet.

http://twitter.com/disneywords

Please note that I didn't say it word for word as I had seen it on my phone earlier in the day and then posted it on here and couldn't exactly remember what was said on the tweet.

By the looks of it, it is a fan account though and is stating it as '#disneyfacts'

So it does look like we will have to take with a pinch of salt at the minute

I'm on the 'not trusting' side of this. Since the source is a fan twitter, it could be possible that they may be confused by the rumour, or are just 'stating what they know'.

In all cases though, I still think that Pixar wouldn't make sequels to films that wouldn't need them, as in they finished very perfeclty.

...On the off chance they do and they have a good story, I'll have a higher respect for Pixar.

Can't remember if someone posted but do you know what size is best to print these at, and what is the best type of paper to use?

In Oxford a couple of weeks ago, I took my obligatory trip to HMV and whilst browsing through the Disney DVDs, this caught my eye propped up against a wall:

In case you can't make out what it says, here it is:

"Walt Disney Classics The Jungle Book Re-Release Fall 2012 on Blu-ray+DVD Pre-order & Guarantee yourself a copy for only £2"

Unfortunately I wasn't able to stick around to ask any questions so I'm not sure if this may just have been some sort of joke. But, I really hope this is not true as it would mean The Jungle Book has been dropped from the Diamond Edition line as well. I'm so angry with the fact that we're not getting 101 Dalmatians in Diamond any more, that I would hate to see this one get a standard release as well.

Let me know your thoughts on this,
Joe
I am willing to stick my neck out and say that there is not a chance in hell of The Jungle Book being dropped from the Diamond Editions.

I think all indications are the Diamond Editions are being knocked back down to 10, and I've been saying for a long time that I expect those to be:-

Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, Cinderella, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, The Jungle Book and finally Sleeping Beauty.

Just bought The Incredibles from eBay brand new & sealed for £9.99. I thought this was a very good price as it usually sells for more un-sealed but HMV seem to have copies online for £10. When it arrives I'll have all the Pixar films on Blu-ray, until Brave and Finding Nemo are released.

My Wanted/For Sale/Trade list

Toy Story 3 DMR codes (UK) to trade

Depending on your Operating System on your computer and your printer itself you'll have lots of options. But you can use this little program called UnderCoverXP. It's fairly straightforward but just remember that after you've loaded your cover into the Print Left window, select Print on a Single Page and Draw Cut / Fold Lines to select Blu-ray from the drop down tab. It always reverts back to the default CD Front + Inside otherwise.

Any questions PM me and I'll try and help you out. I know a lot of guys use high quality copy paper for covers as glossy isn't really needed unless you really prefer that look.

That was the final version I did and had a much improved number 'jewel'.
Speaking of, I can provide you with a psd with multiple layers to improve upon the jewel numbers. Will be for people that have some experience with Photoshop (or GIMP), to tweak the covers.

Yup, this is obviously rubbish. They're still stuck on that Toy Story 4 rumour from last year which turned out to be the shorts.

I've updated the link in my original post (it was a direct link that worked yesterday at least), and here it is again. I also sent you a copy via email.

With the HMV Jungle Book thing, would they really be allowed to take £2 deposits without concrete proof it was coming out?

Though the fact the board looks like it's been half wiped clear strikes me as odd.

Dave, could you check the Sleeping Beauty cover you queried yesterday? If its not your latest one, could you send it to me via email and I'll upload it as well.

Yeah the Sleeping Beauty is one of my old versions, if you flip between the two the difference in the quality of the number jewel will become apparent. I've sent a copy of the lastest version to your email, or you can download it from here;

I've said it before but honestly I'd love to see someone (I'm no where near skilled enough to do it myself) make simply the spines for movies, without the rest of the cover. Obviously only for movies that some people may have un-numbered. What happened to me was I bought Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Chicken Little and The Wild inserts before I owned the first 2 movies. I put my inserts in to The Wild and Chicken Little but when I bought Pinocchio it was already numbered. So as an experiment I cut up the now redundant Pinocchio cover and just put the spine into the case to see if it would work, and it did, leading to me doing the same to both Sleeping Beauty and The Wild (I'd already got CL numbered so didn't need to do it). Seeing as you never view the film from both the front/back and the side at the same time, the difference in quality is virtually unnoticeable, and it allows you to have a numbered spine, while still having the cover look top quality from the front/back.
