I know this is asked a lot,But wtf is a Fake Imax theater?Is it a theater that considers itself to be Imax but really isnt???

has everything (picture and sound quality) but the screen is the size of the smallest screen you've seen at your local theater.

Thats how it was at the Regal one I went to years ago.

Is there any website where you can check what locations are 'true' IMAX? There is about 10 instate which leads me to believe that plenty of these are the 'fake' IMAX screens. Thanks.

Thats how it was at the Regal one I went to years ago.

Screen can also be larger than normal, but not the full IMAX size.

I would disagree with these statements. I really thought Hathaway was only slightly ahead of Halle. Yeah, there was no gimmicky crap, but it just felt forced, and it just feels like one of her weaker roles.

It's old, out-dated and in many cases (like the Mall of Georgia) inaccurate.

There's supposed to be a real IMAX opening soon here. Was going to open last month but got delayed until mid August.

That list is CRAP! It has my local Amc as being real. That is so wrong I bet they put that just because the ticket said Imax. There was a site someone gave awhile back that showed the screen sizes
