I think my son needs some more English classes...with Adam, Sheila & Co, ofcourse. Can see myself watching it too, but surely not a whole episode. Great news indeed.

The DVDs from KSM did contain english audio. So there is hope that it will be on the BDs also.

Personally I like the idea to bring a complete Season on one BD. I never bought the DVD Boxes, because they where expensive, and I don't liked the Season splitting.

plus it sounds like the discs might just be dvds crammed on to blu-rays which doesn't say much on the quality.

If that were the case, it wouldn't say 1080p.

1200 minutes per disc in HD, it's impossible or it's awful

Actually,i think it's not yet known how many disc will be included per season.Bluray-disc.de is stating 6 disc set per season, though.Let's don't jump to conclusions..yet.

Animation can still look great at lower bit rates.

that's much better. Amazon says 1 disc only, that's why I said that.

With only 1 disc it should cost half of what it is now for..But with 6 discs, that would be good price IMO (about 5€ per disc).

Yeah,i saw that listing on Amazon too,and it's rather confusing.But,Amazon.de also listed 1 disc for M.A.S.K series, while Bluray-disc.de has 8 disc set listed. We'll see what happens...

I thought the HD film masters for these were destroyed long ago, and all that's left is SD video masters?

That is my understanding as well. Years ago when Hallmark owned this series and a few others, they transferred everything to digital (in SD) and discarded the original masters. So, I don't think the quality will be much better.

I am still interested in this, though. Will it be region free?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just noticed it's region B. Damn!

Check out the M.A.S.K. thread. It looks like they are just putting SD episodes onto a BD.
