You have to use the sub button on your remote control (on/off). You cannot turn the subs from the menu.

What model is your player? You must have a subtitle button.

If your player/remote is a Panasonic there should be a subtitle button... I've never heard of a blu-ray remote not having a subtitle button.

Sounds like Panasonic budget weirdness. Hit "Display" on the remote while the movie is playing, use the arrows to navigate around and select the subtitle option inside the menu.

If there seriously is not subtitle button on your remote, Panasonic should be ashamed of themselves. I would get so angry if there was no subtitle button. I use it all the time. I hope you were able to figure it out my friend.

Try STTL, two buttons down from green, between TEXT and AD

I say give it a go. The subtitle button is one of the most important on the remote as far as I'm concerned.
