They have all been region free up till now, so I would say the chances were very good.

I have ordered it for the UK.

would love to get the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One edition but will most likely go with the target exclusive .Would of been a great B-Day present but i'm still gonna be happy on the 25th.

yea the Target Exclusive for the Avengers wont be rare anytime soon, they are going to have TONS and TONS of copies.. haah yes you will be able to find the BD in the food market, clothing section and clothes as well.. wait Titanic and Hunger Games are getting target exclusives?

Yes the THG is definitely getting a nice 3-disc exclusive. Not sure about Titanic. I just mentioned that as, potentially, one of the top quantity ordered BD this year.

I will be at Target when the store opens to pick this up. I'm sure they will have enough stock but I want to get one that is not damaged by their plastic security cases they jam their Blus in. I have no problem telling the clerk to get me one from the stockroom.

Plus, I'm hoping Disney has a coupon which you wouldn't be able to use on-line.

we here in belgium get it on august 28

It also opened in Belgium (along with many other countries) a couple weeks before the US premiere. These things sometimes happen due to local marketing conditions (i.e. what else is playing against it).

Also, Belgium isn't a real country so it doesn't matter much if it goes on BD "early"...

I know that Target will have the extra disc with the special features, but what does it include? I looked at a lot of the pages in the thread but couldn't find them.

I read through the thread and everybody seems to talk about picking up the Target exclusive in store. On the target website it says "Not sold in stores". Did I somehow miss something and it will be in stores?

That info hasn't been listed yet, but it IS 90-Minutes of Extras on the Bonus Disc.

I'm sure it'll be in stores. Sure, you could Call your local store, or Email TARGET direct, just to make sure. But for a movie of this magnitude (Retailers) will want it to be in as Many Locations as possible.
