Yes, and the price appears to be climbing quickly. I picked one up that was in "like new" condition for $20 at Amazon market late last week the cheapest listed now is $55.

Why are you using this thread for general digibook discussion? Shouldn't this be about 'oversized' digibooks...

Maybe we should go start a batman digibook OOP discussion, then Im sure someone will complain about that too. The person that started the discussion was asking about OOP digibooks. Its his thread, if he wants to change the discussion then its his business.

Sure, but when we already have a reasonably active digibook thread why not use that one for all this discussion? Will be awfully hard finding anything within the forums if discussions are buried under thread names that don't match the content.

Not that there's too many threads here on the digibook section.

I picked up a Fast Five Target exclusive today, I'm sure at $27 I paid to much but its a nice looking oversized Digipack release.

I saw two or three copies at my local Fry's today. I think the price on them was $24.99. I didn't look over their condition as I am happy with mine, but if you have a Fry's near you mine has always kept a small section that seems to largely be discontinued blu's though the sign for the area says prices as marked and most things are priced a bit high for my tastes.

The Bridge on the River Kwai, is an awesome package.

Also, Chariots of Fire, All Quiet on the Western Front, To Kill a Mockingbird and How the West Was Won are extra thick with double disks.

It seems that most of the Universal Digibooks are pretty thick/oversized. Im assuming that alot of them are two-disc versions?

I have this. It is probably the best Digibook in my collection of 14, and it comes from Sony. Also probably the thickest that I have seen. Housed in a sturdy slip box.

Blu-ray Titles (537) includes - SteelBooks [156] 3D Movies [29] Digibooks (35) Viva Metal Box (18) Blu-ray/DVD Combos (111)

Sweet! I'll hunt this down in my area tomorrow. Hopefully my nearby Fry's here will have it. I got thick-book Malcolm X, JFK & Dirty Harry tonight from Costco at $10.99 each.

Fry's has it on sale this week for $11.99, picked myself up one earlier tonight, check availability on their website and happy hunting!

Awesome!...I got it this morning. Thought it was the last one on the shelf, but there were ten of them in a tray, hidden and stored under the shelvings. Of course, I picked the most pristine of the litter. I also bought North by Northwest and Howl (Digipack). Then I went to a local Buyback store and got Natural Born Killers digibook for $7.99. Good haul today.
