Thanks for the tip! I'm stupid, I printed 3 of them and wasted like $4 in ink.

My theater has a "bargain Tuesday" deal where all non-3D movies are $5.

I don't see this mentioned anywhere on the site, but would you be able to use a single $10 Spider-Man certificate for two people? Or is it 1/customer?

Could the theater actually give you back $5 on each ticket, or something?

no and no

The code is only good on ONE admission and they don't give anything back on those.

no, the theater uses UP TO the price on the pdf file for your one ticket. so if your ticket is $5 then your $10 spidey ticket is used for that $5 and the rest of it is lost. also only one ticker per "movie cash" pdf. so no getting 2 tickets with one code.

They definitely won't give you back money, but you can try using it for 2 tickets, it depends on the theater.

Without ever even asking them, I've always had my theater automatically accept the $10 ticket for 2 $5 ones. They just act like it's a $10 off coupon or something & don't even bat an eye.
ATTN BUYERS & TRADERS! Due to numerous people that never pay or just never respond to PMs at all, I no longer hold things for others. Whether you send me a message or I send you one, an item is not considered yours until you pay for it or make a firm commitment to ship out a trade.

yeah movie cash is technically just a credit card good for the stated amount

so unless they read the fine print and enforce it, it should work

If any of you guys have any TDKR movie cash laying around that you will not use, I would take them if that's okay. I need preferably 3 or more of them, and am willing to send a $12 BB gift card. PM me if interested.

I tried to do this exact scenario today and was shot down. One certificate per ticket. Now I only have 5 more to use. Hopefully, next time it'll work.

FYI - I just tried to use 2 of mine last night and the theater couldn't use them. Something about it not telling them whether or not to use as VISA/MC. They even had the manager call the number on the coupon and she couldn't get a good answer. They let us in for free due to having to stand there for so long.

Unless the theater is on some ancient system, there's no reason they need to know that up front. No system I've eer used in retail or service industries requires you to specify the card type. When you swipe a credit card or type in a credit card number, it doesn't ask what it is. It knows that from the number and processes it accordingly. Sounds like incompetent staff and management.

How stupid. Try it one way. If that doesn't work, try it the other. 20 seconds later, finished.
