Thanks mreilly, the deal with pretsam went great and I feel we are both happy.

Did you sell your XPA-3 through Craigslist?
I'll have to try them someday, to turn over my extra Mirage speakers, Nanos and
Sub.
My son in-law did keep my Maple OMD 5's and C-1 and he's very happy with the sound. He has that Mirage smile.

Having a fish issue? Baseball bat to the head works pretty good.

Got my OMD 5's from you today, I am very Happy.
My Nano's are now retired, they work good as Rears but I missed my Old 5's and now got some back,
Thank You for the great Deal.

Quite a size difference if you never have seen a Nanosat.

They are around 60" high to speaker upside down and 4 inches higher upright.
The sound I believe is better upside down directed to the listeners ear, when they are mounted that high.

The 2nd picture is a great picture CrazyKat. I love how you see the OMDR in the back ground and the 5's look like they are dead on even with the OMDR. Nice job.

Thanks mreilly, I think I'm done with speakers for the year, just have to do Audyssey again, and start thinking about next year.

How does the close space between the sides and rears affect the sound?

Obviously I can't say, but I'd think the height would have a pretty big affect (more than the space between sides and rears).
