I want to get this set, but is it still a Time Life exclusive? Will it ever get a wide release?

Its out in the UK. A lot cheaper than the Time life release. Though. still retains all the Extras. that come with that release. and there are plenty. It differs in the packaging. And does not include the fancy. We can re build Him. chip. that plays in Time lifes release. each time you open the box. probarly this is why its cheaper. Though. all the episodes have been remastered. And its one Bionic Collection.

I can verify that this complete series set will never, ever, see a mass market release.

The good news is that Universal has been releasing these season sets separately. Season 1 has been widely available for some time now (which can be purchased at Target for around $15-20) and Season 2 has had an exclusive at Best Buy for a few months now and the second season will be made available to all retailers this Fall.

Expectation are that Season 3 should arrive as an exclusive at Best Buy this Christmas before coming a mass market release during the first quarter of 2013. Universal is doing a wonderful job at releasing this series in separate season sets.

The Six Million Dollar Man was one of my favorite TV shows when it aired on the ABC network as a regular series from 1974 to 1978. It would be one of the few DVDs I would still buy if it did not come on a BD.

I only ever saw it in syndication, but I loved The Six Million Dollar Man.
