I've seen the pilot. It's strong, but it's really just limited by being a network show. If this was a cable show, it could afford to be a little grittier.
The pros are that it has an interesting premise, and it's JJ. So, we're hoping it's closer to Alias and Lost than that show about those spy-chefs or whatever the hell that was. The cons are that it might play too much into the melodrama, beating the audience over the head with beats that make you want to change the channel to make the hurting stop. These are those points in the show when the characters wine about their problems instead of being active and creating drama. So, high hopes, but I will reserve my opinion until after I've watched a few episodes. I just hope it doesn't become another Terra Nova.
