I came home with the sub didn't I? It works sometimes Travis, you just have to know when to play your cards.

It would have never happened if the sub wasn't going in the basement, she doesn't care what goes down there. I've got my small room that I'm free to do with what I please, the rest of the house I don't really have any say at all. She'll pretend to listen to what I have to say and then proceed to do what ever she wants anyway.

What does your wife think of your bd collection in the living room? I could never get away with that, my wife hates the way that looks even down in our basement.

the concert was awesome !!! both bands sounded great, my ears took a while to get back to normal. the sound and lights were great , it was hot though it was an out door venue but there was a roof just no side or back walls 20 thousand screaming fans we had alot of fun.
hope your sons b day went well! so your dad likes your system , does he want to trade with you ? LOL

he got a lot of Cars toys, tow-mater, lightning mcqueen, finn mcmissile and a few others, then he go some clothes, mostly cars and toy story pictures on them, he loves all that stuff.

we had a Cars cake and I put Cars on tv and played it for all the kids.

The older B&Ws that were built in the UK were much better then these chinese made products they have now.(not saying because where its built theres an issue, just they seem to be more into making the speakers SOUND a certian way, that I dont like)

I hear that Sonus Fabers have a real relaxed and warm sound. Great detail and great for music, but not a huge movie speaker.

Howdy Callas! !

Hows it going?

I've been lurkin here and there every once in awhile. I was wondering about your rDAC myself and you already posted you still love it.

Maybe this winter when I can't do my other hobby, I may get one or still look into the oppo 95.

I have personal issues with the '95' because I would hate to have 2 bluray players at the same time, and I loooove my PS3.
Main Theater Setup:
(Panasonic 65" HDTV) (Onkyo 5008) (Onkyo M-282) (PS3 Slim 250gb)(XBOX360 4GB)
(Monitor Audio - RX2's - (4)RXFX - RX CENTER) (SVS - (2)PB12 Plus) (Harmony 1100) (Monster HDP-2400)
Bedroom Setup:
(Samsung LN40B610) (Onkyo 805) (Sony BDP-S570)(Monster HDP-1800)
(Klipsch - F2's - C2 - Quintet III's) (Personal built 10" Sub) (Harmony 880)

its good. I had one OSP, he just got let go, now I might be getting 2 OSP(outside sales person), not a bad trade. But the OSP that I lost was a great guy, and a real friend. So that part has been tough.

how are you?

See, I didnt have the money to get an Oppo 95, and I didnt think that spending $1k on one would be a good investment for a while, and when the opportunity to get Andrews rDAC at a very good price, still practically brand new, and he let me work something out with him, that was to my distinct advantage. With that said, he seemed to feel that the rdac and dac in the oppo 95 were close, but a slight edge to the oppo, probably also due to the fact that it has a better power supply in the custom rotel power supply they have, but it was redundant for him to have 2 good dacs, so he sold me the rdac, and to be honest, when I first got it, I didnt notice a huge difference, but now, when I switch back and forth from the Integra or sony to the naim/rdac I can tell the differences right away. I do like the livelier and more airy presentation of the rdac over the other 2.

My suggestion is that if you dont want to replace the ps3, get a dac for your musical pleasure. However remember that if you use audyssey you will convert the dacs analog signal back to digital and then the onkyos dac will convert back to analog.... so you would have to shut off audyssey and just do pure direct.
