That's awesome news man!! I have been reading a lot of good things about that little (sold out everywhere) device!! I am still kind of lost as to how it does its magic. So I can't wait to see what you guys think about its performance. I am quite satisfied with the picture I am getting from my current PJ. I can't imaging it getting any better then this!! Keep me posted.......

Wassup "E"?!
It's been a minute. How are you and the fiance? I hope all is well. I'm at "The Cuse" winding down from a very busy, hectic and long day. :whew: I also haven't been on the threads too much lately. Been having some homefront issues that have kept me very occupied. Things are almost back to normal, but it was kind of scary. ![]() Anyway, as of late, when time has permitted, I've been tweaking the system here and there. Nothing dramatic, but it has yielded improvement in the AQ. Instead of the HT/Omega Striker sound card, I ended up acquiring the HT/Omega CLARO Sound card. A step up from the Striker. Not that it matters, because the DL III is doing all the work anyway. But the CLARO's output stage is much sturdier. It's built better, that's for sure. I had to do some minor surgery to my HTPC to get the new card to fit properly. But it's running and sounding good. to stay consistent, I added an Audioquest CinemaQuest VDM-3 Coaxial digital cable to the mix. Not that makes a difference, it just looks nice. ![]() The newly acquired AQ King Cobra IC's have replaced the Monster Cable M-Series M550i's that ran from the DL III to the Rotel. I was for a while using the usb connection and it did sound good, even though the upsample is only to 48 kHz. Now, I'm getting the full 192 kHz upsample via coaxial. The panels: The wife and I have been discussing the possible move and should we paint the cave? Well, we are in August and I still do not have a clue if this Syracuse thing is going to be permanent. Even when I inquire, I never get a definitive answer. The market performance has improved by 35% since I've been in the position. The brass is happy about the improved numbers, but we are still below other regions. I want to install the panels, but I really would like to paint the room first. By the way, I got the new seating (sofa) and got rid of the recliners. They were so beat, it was about time. It gives the room a different feel. I'll take some photos when I get home this weekend (tomorrow) and do my best to get them uploaded to the site. I'm really interested in the Darbeevision DVP-5000! It kind of reminds me of how everyone responded to the Subdude when it was first introduced. Too good to be true. A little platform that changes your room's reaction to the low frequencies of your sub!?! Hard to believe! That's until ya get one! What I'm sayin' is for $269.00, a little apparatus that improves picture quality better than most video processors costing thousands of dollars,... Com'mon Mannnnn! That's the first reaction. Until you actually get one and see the immediate results. Don't get me wrong, I haven't seen one in action yet, it's just every review I read, it's the same assessment. Even the most cynical individuals at AVS Forums are raving about this miracle in a black encasement. I'm getting one! My base model Panny needs all the help it can get! ![]() That's it for me bro.

Hey E, thanks for the comment on my youtube page/vid. Yes, KEM is a talent, and a very nice guy also. Believe me when I say Detroit loves him.
Oh and like you said, the subs do pump but that vid and a few other are only using the left & right bookshelf speakers, a few of the fellows are messing around with our 2channel and making vids. (Callas, BigAl, Aces and myself) We are/were supposed to have a challenge, but no one is happy with the mic on the cameras. Main Theater Setup:
(Panasonic 65" HDTV) (Onkyo 5008) (Onkyo M-282) (PS3 Slim 250gb)(XBOX360 4GB) (Monitor Audio - RX2's - (4)RXFX - RX CENTER) (SVS - (2)PB12 Plus) (Harmony 1100) (Monster HDP-2400) Bedroom Setup: (Samsung LN40B610) (Onkyo 805) (Sony BDP-S570)(Monster HDP-1800) (Klipsch - F2's - C2 - Quintet III's) (Personal built 10" Sub) (Harmony 880) |

Thanks for the update man, I am glad your doing well. I am also glad your making a difference up there in the Cuse!! I am doing well, myself......just working hard as usual. So you have fallen pray to the Darbee Hype too huh?? . As for me, I am not upgrading anything anytime soon. I WILL, however put up some treatments on the wall sometime around or after labor day. I wanted to make them a little decorative so I might go the DIY route. Wish me luck!
