What you did was take a measurement that created a bubble around your main listening area. If you had two rows of seating then the bubble would have been even larger. Or if you really wanted the L shaped seating arrangement to sound as good... you would have just taken measurments in a larger bubble. Makes sense now.... right Tony.

Nothing you tell me makes sense, I just nod and smile lol jk.
yeah I understand now. I always thought I just needed to do it in the spot I sit for optimum sound. But I was wrong :P

That's awesome Tony. Remember not too messure far away from were you sit or way off too the sides. Try also too keep the seating as localised as possible.

Equalizing is good but it can possible make the acoustics sound even worse if you're not careful as it raises and lowers the volume of the frequencies too fix problems in a reflective and bass challenged room. It's a band-aid at best.

Still i use it and like it.

Hey T,

Watching anything good?

I'm getting ready to watch Eyes Wide Shut, last movie in my Kubrick set. Saw it once long ago, but I don't recall it.

I was using MultiEQ for about a month or two, but recently turned it off. How is your EQ treating you?

The last Blu I watched was Lockout. It was really good. I rented SafeHouse, Wanderlust, and Man on the Ledge on dvd to watch at work and wasn't super impressed with any of them. Safe house was the best.

I like it. So far it has a better sound. I don't have the best acoustics thanks to very thin paneling on the walls. Seems like its helping.

You doing any upgrades anytime soon?

Saw Man on a Ledge and Safe House, and you are right nothing too special. No upgrades for me.

They both seem like a rehash of lots of movies.

I'm wanting a new avr and some new furniture. But will have to wait and see.

I agree that Lockout was a blast!
Saw Man on a Ledge, was OK but don't feel compelled to watch again, still looking to see Safehouse

Hey Bill.
Yeah I'll pick up lockout when it's like $15.
I'm glad I rented them instead of buying. I used to buy buy buy and now i have over 100 blu's and may watch 10 of them over again.
I'm looking forward to Jaws!
