Thanks for the heads up! Just preordered it as a essentially blind-buy!

I just hope that it wasn't a price mistake as the DVD is still listed for $49.xx

They seem to have two listings for both the Blu-ray and the DVD. There's a DVD listed for 29.99. The DVD for 29.99 and the Blu-ray for 34.99 offer in store pick-up on August 7th, while the other two listings, the 49.99 DVD and 59.99 Blu-ray, don't offer the store pick-up option. So I think the lower priced options are correct.

Nice price! After the U&S at BB it'll only be $30.

Thumbs up Original Fantasy Series

I believe anyone who likes fantasy series with excellent casting and abnormally good writing would like "Grimm". I want to buy it on Blu-ray because of the incredible case, it includes two trading cards, definitions of the creatures who are found in the series, and many extras.

Should be awesome on Blu-ray, too. I remember watching it on TV at my friend's house with abnormally large HDTV and I thought that even looked great. On Blu-ray, it should look much better.

I really enjoy the show, and if nothing else, let your friends borrow it from you when you get bored of it.

Best Buy is currently selling it for $34.99. A killer price if you ask me. For what I believe is 22 episodes is simply an amazing price.

Doesn't seem like Amazon wants to budge on this one. I've reported the price a couple of times and so have several friends. I'm just going to keep my pre-order with Best Buy, there's one about 10 minutes from my work so I'll just go pick it up on lunch.

They'll budge before Tuesday is over. It's in Best Buy's ad. They'll match it.

Possibly going to pick this up at Best Buy since it will only be 29.99 + tax with the U&S program. I've got plenty of regular DVD's to trade in .

I gave up on Amazon and canceled my pre-order on Saturday, before its status changed to shipping soon. I believe that they will match it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't get matched until Wednesday.

it wouldnt be as bad if amazon still had their 30 day price match policy, but they took that away so you just have to order from the cheapest place now

When was the last time Amazon hasn't matched a price listed in a Best Buy/Target ad by or on the release date? If they don't match this, I'd be shocked. It would definitely set a new precedent and I'd start being as nervous about pre-ordering as the others in this thread. Given their history, it just doesn't seem all that likely.

matching a competitor i'm not sure, but you used to be able to buy it now at whatever price and if amazon lowered the price within 30 days of purchase they would refund you the difference, now they dont do that anymore so you just have to wait and check every day to see if the price goes down.

This was a pretty good show. I think I'll wait though for a lower price. I'm sure we will see it at 19.99 soon.
