Sept. 4 Olive Films releases are now available for pre-order at ImportCDs:
Child's Play
Dark Mirror
Man on a Swing
New Leaf
Pursued
Secret Beyond the Door

Dark Mirror, Man on a Swing & Pursued for me. I get my pre-orders in early, it looks like we blu-ray.com members are hitting them pretty hard - Johnny Guitar & Rio Grande are now out of stock (yeah, they're pre-orders but when they have pre-orders in stock it says so, I got my copies last week). And last week's releases, Force of Evil & Body and Soul are also out of stock.

Received my blus for Johnny Guitar, and The Boogens. Just wish Olive would avoid using the anti theft stickers on the top of their releases. I would assume over 95% of ther sales are online why waste money. Their stickers usually stuck to the front section of the case badly.

Also wish we could order titles direct from Olive at possibly cheaper prices. There are so many releases and with amazons prices keeping up with their blus is gonna get crazy. Just wish they could cost a bit less.
Stop the Replacing of original Studio Opening / Closing logos! These are becoming endangered and should be kept intact. They are part of film history.

Agreed, I've had to replace the cases for Johnny Guitar and The Boogens.

The security tape that Olive uses does suck. I had success removing the tape without leaving the sticky residue behind one time after my mail sat in 90 degree heat all afternoon. (I guess the tape peels easier if it is hot)

You can order directly from Olive, just at @ $22.00 per BD plus shipping.

Importcds is the cheapest online retailer I have found. (my sept. 4th order was $48.54 shipped for The Dark Mirror, Pursued, and Child's Play)

When you pre-order from importcds, are they like Amazon and don't charge until shipped or what?

They dont charge until they ship. I always preferred that. I just got an email that Thinner is now shipped. I love that they are able to send the movies before the release date and the prices are really good for those seeking something less expensive than Amazon or anyone else that I have noticed.
Shipping is so-so. Its first class - the USPS is paired with DHL - you get a tracking # when you ship, one for DHL and one for the USPS.
It is similar to UPS Mail Innovations or Fed Ex Smartpost. It takes about a week from S. CA to N. CA

They do charge at the time of order if you use PayPal.

Just received my copies of BOUND and THE BOOGENS.

As luck would have it, tomorrow is garbage pick-up day so I can quickly get rid of the slipcovers.

Aside from High Noon, which other Olive Films is considered among the best films of all time?

Sands of the Kalahari?
Invasion of the Body Snatchers?

They all have their fans and some are more highly regarded than others but High Noon is probably as close as they get to any 'of all time' lists.

Which is great, actually.

The greatest films of all time will tend to take care of themselves over the years. It's the films that aren't on those lists that need outfits like Olive.
