I have another retort. What if Jack and Jill starred Daniel Day Lewis, everything else would be the same, the script, direction, storyline, cameo from Depp and supporting role from Pacino. Are you telling me that you guys would see it because DDL was in it over Adam Sandler?
Still wouldn't see Jack and Jill at the theater.......................At best, I may rent it from a redbox for $1.20

I know - Kubric and Nolan make excellent films that can be watched over and over again. Michael Bay makes bad films but they have great eye candy, so they are a good 1 time view in the theater (then never watch again) just for the special effects. I'm not saying I go to every Michael Bay movie, but it makes more sense to see a movie with big special effects in the theater than comedies. A good comedy - I'll buy on DVD or Blu-ray and re-watch multiple times. Most Kubric and Nolan films tend to fit into both categories - good to own and good to see in the theater.

If I were a moviegoer, the actors and actresses that would keep me from going to the theaters will be:

Will Farrell
- I can't stand him because, he's not funny to me at all. He's pathetic. Will Farrell is another Saturday Night Live reject!
Bill Murray I never did like Bill Murray.
Woody Allen What's the big deal about Woody Allen and his movies?
Chris Rock The sound of his voice is irritating, annoying. I can't even tolerate listening to him on interviews, lest watching his movies.
Sandra Bullock- Terrible!
Julia Roberts - An extremely overrated actress. There is nothing extraordinary, or unique about any of her performances that I've seen. Her acting is just mediocre.
Angelina Jolie Another case of Hollywood nepotism. If if wasn't for her Father (Jon Voight) she wouldn't be in show business.
Adam Sandler - Where in the hell did he come from.

Russell Brand - I despise everything about him.
Seth Rogan - Can't stand all the unfunny improve in his movies. Plus...not funny
Jonah Hill - not funny
Zach Galifianakis - not funny
Will Farrell - What a screen *****. Why does he have to be in disgusting tighty whities in every movie? The only thing he was good in was Old School but naked does not = funny.

I have a deal with the wife that I won't watch any chick flicks - with the exception of ones that have Drew in them. I adore her.

At least Woody Allen is a funny one trick pony (especially in his earlier, funnier pictures), so that gives him a leg up on Sandler.

Theaters: probably only Shia LaBouf unless there is an actor I really like in the movie.

Though I am willing to watch just about any movie, nothing will really stop me from at some point watching it, but Shia LaBouf is the only actor I down right despise.

Can't stand John Goodman. I want to punch him in the face everytime I see him.

Also can't stand John Travolta.

Let see, where do I start...you might notice a pattern

Will Ferrell (although he is mildly amusing in Zoolander)
Adam Sandler
Seth Rogen
Jonah Hill

for starters

but the very worst of all would be - Michael Cera. His face offends me. I want to punch him every time Im unlucky enough to see his stupid ugly face!
