Nah, i want a more original looking story with a differentiation of what 'bad girl' the villain will be. I don't think another rougue agent is necessary. I think the key lies in basically doing Expendables but with a completely female cast and a completely new story to keep it fresh. Then get them to have a cross over

This is a horrible idea to begin with, and the cast lists you guys are throwing out are largely made up of a) current hot actresses who would never take part, and/or b) seriously reaching and scraping the barrel to fill out the list.

only a few like sigourney are iconic enough. let's face it. A female expendables would be a complete and total FLOP.

...but then, I think the MALE Expendables is pretty lame.

I think many of you are thinking of these actresses traveling about in motorcycles, airplanes, and Road Warrior-type vehicles?

I dont think that they would copy the same style as Expendables. It's possible that it would follow more in style of a Femme Nikita, Mission Impossible, Naked Weapon style.

The advantage about the older actresses is that no bad guys will suspect them as being some ass-kicking spy.

People like Sly, Arnold, Statham are too obvious to bad guys which is why a group like the Expendables have to arrive anywhere with guns blazing.

Only Milla Jovovich can truly be called a female action star IMO. Shes done Fifth Element, Ultraviolet, and the Resident Evil films

Sigourney Weaver torched some alien eggs for 5 minutes in one movie...doesnt make her an action star IMO

Scarlet Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway etc all have done action rolls but none strike me as action stars. One reason being they have too many "normal" movies on the side.
